What dog boarding is all about

Today we brought together a 91 year old man named Max and a 5 year old pitbull rescue named Chopper.

This is an old man's last dog and a dog's last chance.

Brings me to tears.

Rescue dogs in Afghanistan

We have come in contact with a wonder soldier in Afghanistan who has dedicated himself to the rescue of dogs there. These dogs are homeless, many injured or ill. They are being sent back to the USA and with the help of Northstar Vets are being made adoptable!

Timberlane Kennels has been collecting for Vet care and are working with our HERO across the ocean, Brian Assanowicz to put together an adoption program.

Lost Dog REWARD!!

Someone e-mailed me today. This person got into a car accident and her Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier escaped from the car. The dog's name is "Bailey".

She is a shy dog, so if you see her she may not come to you right away. We at Timberlane Kennels have never met the dog but the owner has been contacting all local kennels and vets. We are doing our part to try and help.

If seen, please call David @ 516-840-4444. Timberlane will be glad to house her until the owner can come down. Seeing the phone exchange I assume they live on Long Island.

Montomery needs a home!!!!!!

We have an 11 year old chow mix in need of a home. He is wonderful with people, not used to other pets in the home. Montgomery is no longer able to climb the stairs in his owners house. He is boarding at our kennel until we find him a home.

The wonderful Luke E.

This is a very sad day for us at Timberlane. We just got the news that one of our all time favorite dogs succumbed to cancer. His name was Luke. A beautiful Viszla. Not only was Luke a boarder here for years, but was my daughters running partner several days a week. No dog who ever came here was more like our own.

 Luke broke our doors and wiped out all the stuff on the desk but we couldn't help but love him (he wrote an apology letter that is still on the desk). He also demanded to supervise the cleaning of the outdoor runs!!!

We are all tearful. Love you forever Luke. Emily will miss having you drag her through the neighborhood.
